Update and Linearts Galore

Greetings everyone!

Yea yea, I don't update these journals often.  I've been pretty significantly busy for the past several months with various different tasks.  Cutting down trees (and nearly getting flung by tree), having my nephews visit this summer, doing the job thing, and lots and LOTS of comic pages for Gregg Paulsen for his project, Ironclad. 

See?  Ironclad! More sneak peaks will be shown soon.


Also lots of other social activities with local friends, such as playing plenty of Xwing Miniatures Game stuff (so fun!) so that cuts into free time for art.  But that's what's been going on overall. 

Now to my question for every one of you.  I have a whole bunch of commissioned lineart from various artists for the past several years.  Nearly a decade now actually, and not all of them are inked. 

So, would you folks be interested in practicing your inking skills on them? 

I already have the images that I'm going to color set up with flats already, or in the pile to be worked, so I'm not looking to get some free work done.  This is purely for the purposes of practicing your lineart skills on a variety of different characters.  Granted, if you already draw and ink, you probably don't need it, but maybe you'd like to try your hand on something completely out of the blue.  And I can assure you that I do indeed have a very wide variety of artists works that are just in pencil form.  Some were by a guy looking to make a few quick bucks, and others by some pretty talented artists making their mark with a fun, unique style. 

If you're interested, post about it in the comments below.  If enough people express an interest, I will upload some choice images into a lineart folder for you to check out and do your best with.
