The sound of avians chirping their good nights competed with the sounds of cars and people on the busy city streets in a typical Japanese urban area. Osaka to be specific. The sun slowly lowered as the great city settled down and adjusted for the coming night. The streets and sidewalks were packed with people, lights blazing into the growing sunset as they went home from work, to work, or just for a night on the town. The teeming mass of humanity was, just as the crowded buildings were, another aspect of a typical Japanese urban area.
The crowds continued on their way, ignoring each other in their desire to get to their destinations. Yet, every so often, someone would look up towards the top of a building, or brush off some sudden dust that struck their shoulders.
